On August 6, 2011 the AUTOcouture Motoring team visited “Bimmerfest”, the east coast’s premier BMW meet in Aberdeen, MD, with our partners at MORR Wheels. We were fortunate enough to be represented by several of our project vehicles and our owners. The competition at the event was heated, by even the most discerning enthusiast’s standards. Owners like Cyrus Apgar, Bob Butler and Joe McKenna displayed their vehicles designed by AUTOcouture Motoring, which we are extremely grateful for. When awards time arrived, with podium spots up for grabs, the already-competitive environment became tense. Ultimately though, AUTOcouture would prove victorious with “Space Ghost”, owned by Bob Butler. As a vehicle designed for pure performance, with a demanding owner, “Space Ghost” exemplifies the fact that the wearer of the crown is not always a trailer queen. It was honor to build such an awe-inspiring machine and our congratulations are extended to Bob.
Curling competition. Winner received $1,000 credit towards new MORR wheels! Sal's 1M. Cy's epic M3 project - "Black 'n Yellow". Matt's Frozen Grey E46 'vert. MORR's flat black project M3 'vert. Bob's track beast - "Space Ghost". MORR girls. "Best of Show" winner is........................... "Space Ghost"!! Last edited by Bart@AUTOcouture; 08-18-2011 at 02:54 PM.. |

Got my trims done...finally.
Here are some pics (iphone). I was particularly jittery about the corners and just look at how clean they have come out. The car looks so much more awesome now Finally the red ring was a nice touch from Jay. Thank you guys. - Dr. |
