TPMS question

Does anyone know the dimensions of the torx screw that mounts the sending unit to the valve stems?

I have the sending units and the valve stems but not the torx screws. Pretty sure I can't purchase them separately from BMW so was hoping to get some at the hardware store to avoid spending $40 for all of the corners. But something tells me I'm going to end up at the parts counter.

You won't be able to buy those torx screws as they are hollow to allow air to pass through the stem. They are T20 torx screws though. The screws come with the stems. Dealerships sell the TPMS in two parts: the sensor and the stem. Your best bet is to buy four new stems.

If you're not in too big of a hurry, we can order the stem for you as well. PM for more info.

This is what I was betting on. Unfortunately I am in a bit a hurry as the garage down the street has my wheels and just called me with the revelation that these screws are missing. The wheels are taking up space there until I can get to the parts dept. Which will have to be very soon.

Thanks a lot for the info though. And being willing to help a guy out.
