[Alpine Whiteboy]

Hey everyone. Hot Import Nights (H.I.N.) is having their annual car show this July, the 24th/25th which is a Saturday and Sunday. I'm going to roll out there to check it out and was wondering if anybody would be down to maybe meet up somewhere and get a nice little caravan out to N.J. to see the show? It may not be a "BMW" or a "European" event, but its a nice event.

The event is from 4pm to Midnight Saturday, and 10am to 6pm Sunday. It's pretty cool, there's lots of entertainment. Last time I went they had a nice drifting event, but that was at Belmont Race Track, I think this year they will have a few drag races being it is being held at the drag strip. There's also always concert performances and models (dressed like whores) everywhere.

well i cant front the belmont HIN was the 2nd best next to AC's..
but last year at e-town was watever, like they had drift show too,
but in my opionion small venue when looking from above..
but will see, if my press passes for Le Mans get decline, then HIN
it is..

Put it this way, you get to put a lot of ricers in there place on the way there. They are all over the highway

But for the most part, they DO have some worthy JDM cars, and they do have foreign/European cars as well...

lol, funny you mentioned the euros.. I went to a few of hin's events back in 1998 being in the toyota crowd and never cared about euros one bit ....man if i had to do it all over again...sighs. I kinda miss the import models which appears to be a hot 9-10 from the rear then they turn around and im like...seriously your face is a 5.3....I dont make this stuff up!

atleast there were models i love the forum but it'd be nice to see some eye candy at the meets/shows that doesn't have 4 wheels and an engine

I used to do car shows, solo/team and everything in between. I guess I got tired of the scene and all the money dumped into trailer queens, teams that were built from rich kids that mommy and daddy paid for and were sponsored by the unthinkable (first national bank, are you kidding me). They killed the fun of the show because every month their car had new paint, another brand new 10k stereo done and another engine built.

And after judging a few shows, and the head judge going 'I don't care what trophy you give to them, you have to give them something because they spent a lot of money in their ride' I decided to get out of it. If I'm goon a dump 20k into a car, I'm gonna use it everyday, not park it in a garage next to all the little 12 dollar trophies I won from just looking pretty.

Sorry for the ranting bit. Vinny has been to the shop enough and saw the Accord show car that just never ends with the pointless mods...he knows why I dislike it lol
