320D Brake upgrade

Hi All, i've recently purchased a 2006 320d and got a remap to 213bhp, and found the car is struggling to stop at some points on a spirited drive.
I understand that the 330d front disc & caliper brakes are a direct bolt on fit but I've fitted Style 393 rims from the F30 model (17x7.5J ET37) and not sure if they would fit under the rims?
Anybody able to assist or point me in the right direction on whether I would require spacers?
Thank you in advance.

Have you tried different brake pads for a start?

I would much rather fit upgraded discs/calipers as i am looking to go down the route of garret hybrid turbo/330d intercooler/535 injectors and possibly uprated high pressure fuel pump this year, aiming for 250/260bhp
