Sounds pretty good, but I'd love to hear it under load.

I went to this place called Great Neck Auto Tech. It's in great neck, ny on east shore road. Trust me, I will only take my car and future cars to this place. I first went to the body shop called Bodyworks Unlimited, which is also located on east shore rd, to get a estimate on the damage on the right side skirt. I told the guy my story about the ghetto bodyshop fucking up my car. And he was amused I didn't even get the exhaust installed. So he recommended Great Neck Auto Tech. I specifically asked if they specialized on BMW or German automotive. He said to me " Go up there and look what type of cars they are working on. They specialize on all high end, luxury cars." So I drive up there and fair enough their is a shinny red Ferrari Testarossa. I'll admit most of my doubt was allivated in that instant. So the install was about 1 1/2 hours, it seemed longer due to the fact that the shop had alot of cars to work on.

PS - I left my deposit for the repair at Bodyworks Unlimited. The damage isnt really that severe. They just have to replace this big square block that is immediately underneath the right side skirt where the pillar for the passenger front and side door meet. Also to be replaced is the plastic covering that basically covers the entire bottom of the car from the metal chassis.

PS2 - l4wr3nc3, My own dealership refused to install the eisenmann exhaust, or any aftermarket exhaust for that matter. He looked pretty annoyed and pissed after I asked him the question.

No welding required. Its bolt on, first they cut off the old exhaust. Next for my 330i, since I have the valve control system in the longer exhaust pipe, they disconnect it and for the valve control sytem and for the valve stem they used I believe a rubber nail or rubber fill in object(im not complete positive on this). I have heard others on the forum say they used a "golf-tee" I believe. They use the adhesive and put it on the eisenmann and the eisenmann comes with a clamp. Finally they attach the exhaust with the adhesive onto the chassis and then bolt on the clamp. Then your pretty much finished. I was actually run through this process by Val at Great Neck Auto Tech. Since there was a big sign in the waiting room and garage that stated "No customers are allowed into the workplace, because of insurance purposes." In reality I dropped my car off and went home, and waited for the phone call in which the work was completed.

On a side note, i've used bodyworks unlimited to repair my previous bimmer and they did an awesome job, i'm a big fan of theirs :rocks:

Sounds great, glad to hear that it worked out in the end! Eisenmann makes a good exhaust, I was one of the first to have their setup on the E46 in the US years ago.

Bought my E90 a couple of months ago and looking to upgrade some of the OEM parts. Where is the best place to look for exhausts, software upgrades, and air filters/intakes?

You need to make a video of the car in motion.

Just reving it doesent really show you what this exhaust sounds like...

None other than more noise, if you consider that tobe a benefit; unless accompanied by other modifications selected through dynamometer testing.

hey where do u guys live in ny: mark and sirius. i'm in roslyn.
and this e90 is my first own car. can u tell me what performance gain you get from the exhaust? i know it sounds a lot more aggressive, but couldn't i get that from an aftermarket intake which actually has hp gains?
also, on the pics, the engraving says 330i/325i. im assuming these parts work for the 330xi as well right? they just use the i to specify that it doesnt work for the diesel engines?
