Did you ever do the golf tee mod / unplug the vacuum tube from your exhaust? Curious how much better this sounds compared to that free mod...

But i prefer OEM, and this is one badass OEM exhaust.
I was in your exact situation. Other things on my short list of OEM mods were: M3 lip spoiler, LCI performance diffuser, and LCI taillights. The cost of these three mods would be similar the cost of the PE. In the end, I wanted a throaty and "singing" exhaust note, rather than just visual upgrades.

When are you planning on getting this PE?

I've heard about this "golf tee" mod, but wanted the "real" thing. I know the cost differential is tempting, but in the end, my budget allowed for the PE, so that's what I did. And, I LOVE THIS THING!

Will definitely try. I am going to call a buddy of mine to see if he's free this weekend. If he is, then I'll have the vid(s) up sometime this weekend.

One thing I forgot to mention. I really like that "burble" note that comes from the PE when you let up on the gas a bit. Is that sound common with other exhaust systems out there for our cars?

Well the saving account for it has already started.

Just got a pair of OEM Carbon fiber front LCI M-tech splitters which cost me $600+, which took away from that account, but i hope by june i will have it.

Going to order it from Tischer.

that i love the most, cruising slowly in first gear in a parking lot, feathering the gas around 2k-3k rpm draws everyone's attention to you "gurl gurl gurl pop pop pop..."

In all honesty, I wasn't sure if I would like that noise when I first heard it on various online videos (eg Youtube). I thought it sounded odd for some reason. But now, I just LOVE IT.

I know. I'm probably coming off a little corny, but I do feel like a kid on X-mas morning. I love my Msprt kit and performance wheels, but they didn't make me necessarily want to drive my car more. With this PE, I keep wanting to take my car out. I am sure this feeling will fade down the line....or maybe not. You guys seem to still really enjoy yours. Hence, I wanted to know what you guys thought of your PE a year later.
