I could hear them and I was out in the shed!

"Awwww is the little dearie tired? Did you get all worn out trying to keep up with those diesels?" seemed to be the gist of it.

We all heard your rendition of 'OOh aaah oooooooh aaaaaaaaaaah Cantona.....', without any mention of the Frenchman whatsoever!

It was the '...wait till we take our teeth out..' that was the most shocking!

I think Nathan rang from the otherside of Hilton, to ask what all the noise was about!

I always insist that they remove their dentures, for their own safety...

Imagine if I slammed on the brakes and the passenger airbag inflated without warning...

Good ideal.

But strange how neither of the 'old girls' were in your car, well away from any potential airbag going off in their faces, at the time of the 'misdemeanour' !

Ok, so you need a 240-110 stepdown but they're hardly expensive. The point is the above kit gets you a PC, pads and a bottle of Sonus polish. For a new car that's not been near a dealer cleaning session it's pretty much all you need. Just add your own finishing glaze.
I'm waiting for the Ultimate Detailing Machine. UK spec, better (once they sort some issues with it) and cheaper as I understand it.

I was up your way today nathan.

And besides, you really need Microfibres, Wash Mitts, Shampoo, Field Glaze/Quick Detailer, Tyre Blackener, Exhaust Polish, Leather treatment etc. etc. etc.

A.K.A. not 150 more like £3-400 if you go for say Zymol!

LOL - looks like the only thing I can't see on the pile is a gallon bottle of Last Touch QD.

Is that dodo juice wax snuggling behind the car lack and in front of the z*mol ? (asterisk in case they are watching !)

Just wondered what you think of it.

Where's the polishing machine matt?! Did you have that already or been stocking up?

What's the big blue thing ? with a picture of a bike on it?

I see you've gone gilmour rather than AB foam lance.

Jetseal for wheels - hmmm I haven't tried that yet, my supplier suggested just using carbon (zymol wax) on them so I did...is it "better"?

Must admit that I haven't got any Last Touch, though I have got some Zoomül Field Glaze for the final buff.

It is Dodo Juice Light Fantastic hiding there. Never been opened yet . The plan is for the Zoomül Concours to go on the E91 and my sister is then going to try the Dodo on her E87. I'll report (with pics) when we have some news

Must admit I was also impressed by the Jetseal. I gave the whole of her old car a going over as I don't think she'd more than washed it this year. Came up lovely though with minimal effort.

No polishing machine, I haven't summoned up the courage to go that far yet.

The big blue thing is an EZ Detail brush which gets good reviews on detailingworld for wheel cleaning, particularly wider alloys.

Don't have a pressure washer so it's a Gilmour for now. I find that a couple of caps of Clear in the Gilmour and quick damp down in preparation and you get plenty of foam.

I know what you mean re: polishing machine. I get the impression the UDM will be good when it comes out so I might get one then, no major need for one right now but would be good when I get a few more swirls/marks. I'm going to do some wetsanding one day!!!!

RE: Brush, gotcha, yeah I got one of these which is great for the m sport wheels and looks similar, can even squish under the calipers etc.:

http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/S...FQMfEgoduHTrZA

Gilmour sounds good. I'm still not sure how much effect foaming has unless your car is filthy - I suspect more so in winter with the underneath of the car etc. as well.

Yeah, I wondered whether the Jetseal was gonna be any good - but I have to hand it to em for longevity.

I went for Collinite 915 since I have sparkling hammerite (graphite) and also for the claimed durability. I clayed and waxed it when shortly after it was delivered and haven't had to even get the buckets out until today

That was only due to the grain dust all over it - the farmers have been combining like crazy - which is a sure sign the weather is about to change.

I like watching my wifes face when we're washing the cars, when I spend 5 mins with the karcher foam gun, rinse - towel off and spritz it with last touch while she is still trying to get the roof clean on her shed.

Spose I'd better wax and jetseal her car tomorrow so we can spend more "quality" time together

Nah, only a small fortune.

About a third of it is my sister's as well (so she paid for it).
