I count three BMWs and an American built toddler crusher...
X's waaaaaay outnumber Coupes in my area. If I want to die, I will ride my motorcycle past any of the local schools at 15:30 and wait for a double parked X5 to ram me..... |

To the toddler crusher's credit, he is currently considering trading it in on a 335i Touring ... should raise the tone of the car park a little.

Spotted an E93 335i MSport today and no thats not a typo a 335i cabrio Msport. Not sure if it was a Msport package, or just the bumpers ordered through the parts store and retro-fitted, either way, it looked sweet!

I see about 3 e92 m3's a day, it's a mixture of about 6-8 that part in the same place i do in the city each day. I must say, the initial novelty of spotting them has dropped off a little.

I saw my first E92 M3 on the road last week. I was driving home from work (south bound on Pacific Highway, Artarmon) and not really paying attention, when I saw a leery looking white car with ridiculously large wheels parked in traffic going the other way. It was only as I had passed it that I registered it was an Alpine White M3 with a CF roof and 19" wheels! I've been waiting 4 months to see one on the road and I missed it

Once you have seen about 3 or 4 in the space of 5 mins, it is not exactly exciting anymore...

Well when they're wedged in between a 360 spyder, DB9 and (997) 911 turbo, i'd say i probably don't look that much. But i guess it's just the environment at the work carpark.

Yep, being around East Sydney a bit I see the 300k plus cars, so the M3 really doesn't stand out too much against those

I still reckon it stands out in AW with the 19s and a whole bunch of my neighbours have the latest F cars, 997TT's etc, one's even got a Ford GT I see around some weekends.
Although I think its not aggressive enough in some of the darker colours or even silverstone. Probably to do with the rear arches not being wider like the previous gen M3 and setting the car off more from the rest of the range. |
