kw v2 and pss9.which one is lighter ?

hi folks

the debate on whether kw v2 or pss9 better has been going on for ages.
it is fair to say that both are equally matched in their capabilities.

so far nobody have compared their weight difference over stock suspension.

so can anyone here shed some light as to which one of the three are the lightest ?

cheers

Not sure if many would agree that they are equally matched. It's more to do with which you would prefer and would work best for you. They both do something similar but in a different way.

btw...
Other than weight advantage another could be which has the weather advantage. KW V2 would probably be better for people like me who live in northeast (snow, salt, etc).

Anywayz, bump for the OP...which one of the three are the lightest???

They are close enough for it not to matter.

Probably within a couple pounds of each other. There are some systems that are specifically designed to save weight, however, and with those you might be closer to several pounds difference, which, all things being equal, is a significant benefit.

Almost forgot, the point I wanted to make was that it would be nice if the vendors would help us out with queries like this, they can go and actually weigh the stuff off the shelf. Just my perspective, but I would look much more favorably upon vendors that stepped out of their way to be altruistic on these kinds of issues rather than just popping on to plug a product to try to grab a sale...

Go with the KW V2s if you are looking for more of a track oriented suspension (IMO anyways) and go with the PSS9 if you are trying to lower your car a lot.

hi folks

i just found out on certain vendor websites that the shipping weight of pss9 are 38 lbs.minus 4lb for packaging i think it will work out to be 34 lbs.

cant find weight info for kw2.but my gut feeling tells me it is lighter than pss9.

cheers

The KW V2, including packaging (double boxed), weighs 55lbs.

if your concern is which one lighter, why its the packaging box in the equation?

The packaging factor is not by choice.
