Melb Meet/Cruise thread...........

come on guys with so many new Melb members I think it's time we get a meet and cruze going. The VW boys have one per month... I am actually thinking of tagging along on their next drive..... unless we can get one going........

I love the pancake parlor, Warrigal rd has a new one in Chadstone with heaps of parking... meet and a short stack? I am also keen for a black spurs run as well.

My baby boy has arrived, my Vanos is fixed it's all systems go!

So ideas anyone?

I practically live around the corner from the German Club. Depending on the day, I am in. Hopefully my black grilles and Procede rev 3 have arrived from the USA, before then - mind you I am shit scared about attempting to install.

But yeh, probably the C class. Just depends on whether or not I will have people joining me on the way down as well. Don't want to go down alone. I'll bring the lip along if you want to buy it.

Just a heads up i am planing to take a drive up to mt Dandenong, basin mountain hwy this sat late afternoon/twilight... anyone is welcome to join me. nice short run with lots of twisty, I normally do 4 laps. if anyone is keen we can work out a meet point and time. weather chance of a late shower. I am open to Friday but prefer sat as it's quieter.

Unsure about this Saturday as I'm doing the 14k fun run the next morning - though I'd love to have a go at the Mt Dandenong run once I can get my paddles working.

I went up the ranges with the new car for the first time a few weeks back on ferntree gully rd side and have to say on the auto tranny it's a sh*tbox - power delivery to the wheels on kick-down was slow as. Was much smoother in DS mode, but taking sharp corners with one hand on the wheel at high speed is not a good idea.
