Seems like the Bridgewater-area works everyone, maybe the mall? Perfect spot since 287, 22, 202 & 206 all link up right in that area (the patriots stadium might be a mess since its baseball season).

The bridgewater mall wont work about a month ago there was one huge meet and then the next week the cops came and broke it up

alright so it seems like we have people from all over jersey.. thats exactly what i was hoping for!! ok so if you guys could just respond with your name and location.. just so we have a record and agree on a nice huge parking lot and also I guess we could have more than bmws but thats when the rice comes in..

Im in north jersey too used to go to edgewater but this year they started the check points again so thats out ive been going to the willowbrook meet on thursdays, usually cops just tell us to leave and we go down the street to applebees on rt 46. Would be nice to have a solid spot though

if you open it to other cars- than its no different than going to any other car meet. What I really havent seen too much in the past few years, are actual BMW car meets.

nothing against other cars, but I see most the usual suspects of cars that attend car meets on the road- what I dont get to see, are modded bmws that much.

I, and I imagine many others dont want to go to a meet, so a bunch of people can chill with their cars- rather I want to go to a meet, where I can see and talk to a whole bunch of bmw enthusiasts and see and hear mods for our cars, that I only ever get to see on the internet.

Also, if we do it near/at a fast food joint, buy food from them, they will not mind us meeting on their lot.

couldn't have said it better myself!!!! when i started this thread was really hoping for a bmw only meet to come out of it.. i will update the original post with all the names and locations when more people post

was thinking about it last nite, three other places came to mind:

Applesbees on Rt. 10 in East Hanover -- 240 New Jersey 10, East Hanover, NJ (pretty big lot since it shares space with a Dicks Sporting goods)
Costco on Rt. 10 in East Hanover -- 156 New Jersey 10, East Hanover, NJ
Summit Multi-Level Parking Lot -- Intersection of Springfield Ave + Kent Place Blvd, Summit, NJ (maybe meet on the top floor so then we're outside, make a good photo op if people wanna take pics)

I agree with BMW only meet.

Since we have a dispersed crowd, we should make sure to rotate meetups between south, central and north Jersey. This way everyone gets a chance to go to their nearest meet and also gives others chances to visit new crowd.

Again, we can rotate like a potluck for venue so each one of us gets to suggest a place.

And, Yes! I am a democrat.

Id be in for some central NJ goodness but you guys are all so far away from me.. ( MONMOUTH County )

Close to Raceway Park, Seaside, tons of beach towns etc..

Hopefully we can get something going around this area.
