Brake Issue

Hey guys I have been running into a problem lately.

My brake pads were getting really bad when I first bought the car, so I had to get them replaced.

The issue I am having now is that my car drags to a stop and you can hear the brakes as if they aren't gripping the rotors right, and there is a vibration. I don't know what could be causing this, they are new pads and I bedded them in properly, but its only when I'm coming from about 10MPH to 0, I can feel it and hear it.

And my brakes are still very, very squeaky.

Please let me know what could be wrong, and causing this.

Thanks.

Warped rotors? Take ur fingers and feel ur rotor (when the car is cold) and if u feel a big lip on the outer edge of the rotor they definently need replacing

I looked at them, can't touch them because I was just driving.

But, I noticed that there was a little outer lip on the front rotors..

Yeah, they may be getting too thin, and even though you bedded the pads, the rotor may be too far gone to fix.

What kind of pads?
How many miles on the rotors?
What was your bedding procedure?

I followed the bedding process that everyone says to do. (Speed up and slow down.)

The pads I'm not sure, as bad as it sounds I bought the car at a ford dealership (my dad is the GM there) and when I noticed he got them to do the brakes. So I am not sure what kind they used.

I am not sure when was the last rotor replacement either...

I would bet rotors, if you can see a lip they are ready to be replaced

I am going to go to Goodyear and see what they have to say, I will keep it updated.

I hope it isn't anything big though.
