Cobb AP Error Code Help

I recently installed my DPs and flashed to stage 2 on Cobb. However I am getting the Service engine soon light still. I get the following codes:

P2097
P0041
P2C31
P2c6a
P2c28

Can someone help me out what this means? Will my car explode?

yeah probably , happened before with those codes .
I would do an ECU reset and delete codes and see if they come up again. You sure you installed the lambda on the right downpipes?
one of the codes is: 2C6A - AfterCat O2 sensors switched......

went to my shop today and did a 3 hr diagnostic.

they checked the o2 sensors and they were correctly in place and were not switched. then we reflashed. I did an uninstall and install and we got the same readings. however, now the engine starts to kick and the fan goes crazy after a while and then the kicks and shaking begin to shake. t

they said it is a software issue considering the o2 sensors r getting readings and voltage. so I tried flashing to different stage 2 maps and now the car does this crazy nonsense in the beginning with the kicking and shaking.

now I get these codes,

p2c28
poo40
p2c24
p2ee6
h2c24

I am starting to think I should just go back to stock.

I was recently considering doing the same thing. Having DPs installed and flashing to stage 2 with my cobb. This situation make me pretty nervous. I think somewhere on this forum is a post of different error codes. I cant find the page right now. But if I can locate it I will post it so you can see what all the errors are.

If you are running cat less downpipes you have to run stage 2.

It still sounds like they could have installed the O2 sensors wrong.

Call COBB they have awesome support and will get your going quickly.

Do your downpipes have O2 spacers on them? These codes would typically be related to bad O2 sensor readings, but I'll point Rob in this direction and he'll be able to help figure out what is going on.

now I get these codes,

p2c28 - Lambda probe before catalyst 2, System check
poo40
p2c24 - Lambda probe before catalyst reversed
p2ee6 - Coolant temperature sensor, measuring range of plausibility.
h2c24 - Lambda probe before catalyst reversed

I am starting to think I should just go back to stock.
I would assume the car has the same behavior after an uninstall? When uninstalling the AP puts your 100% stock ROM back on to the ECU.

Other than the O2 sensors being swapped (easy to do), bad exhaust leaks can wreak havoc on the O2 sensors as well. It is also possible for the sensors to be damaged while being removed/re-installed.

Cheers,
Rob

my guess is that the sensors are either still swapped and the shop doesn't realize it...or they are damaged.

I have not tried running the car without the tune. Should the irregular startup happen without the tune as well?

pretty sure your 02 sensors are still swapped or damaged. your shop will of course blame the tune so go back completely stock and see if you still get the codes.

sounds like it is in a lean mode... Used or new? usually you don't want to push your car until it is warmed or if it is new 5000 miles i think is broken in.

I went to IU by the way. GO hoosiers

Misfires....I can't really say anything about the O2 sensors...but if its misfiring now...check spark plugs. How many miles are on your current ones? I know a few local members have gotten misfire codes, and they basically changed spark plugs and were good to go.

not sure. Got the car CPO at 26k miles... dont know if they change em or check em when they are traded in.

But now I have 28k miles. So from the beginning maybe 28k? Do I have to get BMW spark plugs and coils?

Not sure about older BMWs, but usually you can buy a piggyback system, or in my case a accessport to "flash" the ecu to gain more power. look on bmw mod sites and such.

If it is lean mode then the ECU is limiting you cuz theres something wrong with your engine or overheating.
