Advice - Best watches under £250

Hi all,

My in-laws want to buy me a gift as part of me getting married

I've been given a rough budget (£150-£200) so I thought I'd get a watch as opposed to anything else that would only be worn/used every now and again.

My daily wear is a Baume & Mercier and I was hoping for some advice on anything I can buy within the budget.

I'm looking for a more dressy/smart watch as opposed to a bulky toy watches.

Brands similar to styles of Larson and Jennings / CHR Ward / Larsen is what I'm looking for.

Quite like these:

https://www.larssonandjennings.com/shop/lader/red/

http://www.larsenwatches.com/gents/philip.html (love this but slightly out of budget - can I get anywhere cheaper?!)

Any other options?

Cheers!

Hi Guys

Thanks a lot for your advice - I think I'm going to go for the Christopher Ward http://www.christopherward.co.uk/men/vi ... t-mk2.html

Although a lovely watch, I felt the citizen had a bit much going on

The Christopher Ward watch ticks all my boxes!

Thanks again!

I bought a Chris ward for my best man. Blown away by the quality of it for the price.

I'm gonna get one of these soon:

15% off at the moment too. DAD15 is the code!
