Procede VIN Locking, New Units don't have VIN Lock.

I don't understand why people have issues with procede. I hit19 psi all day. No issues here.

For the price of the Cobb AP it's not worth spending $800 for a little flash. Just pony up and overnight your ecu to Vishnu, flash for $100 iirc, put it back in. Kinda simple here.

$100-200 (shipping dependent)>$800

No one pays $800 for a Cobb. And a lot of people like to tweak the tables themselves (or at least have their personal tuner do it). They pay a lot less for a new Cobb than a new Procede. Just the facts. It's not just a 'little flash'; it's a 'flash whatever the hell you want'.

Got my car back, it's running straight e85 and just rips through the gears!

I sent my rev3 into proceed paid the fee to have it vin unlocked hooked everything up just to have the ses light flash six times indicating vin mix match. Robert sent me a copy of the firm to do the vin unlock and it still didn't work. I was advised to send the unit back to have it unlocked but unfortunately the 335 is my primary car and I'm unable to have the vehicle down. For a few days I offered to pay for a new unit to cut down the delay of shipping time so I can install a unit that is vin unlocked and then send my unit back for a refund however vishnu is out of rev3 units for a week and a half. Moral of the story pretty disappointed that my unit was not double checked to make sure it was vin unlocked the first time.

I received an email from the vishnu team regarding the updated firmware and unlock.

"No this will not be ready at this time. All new Rev3 purchases are full unlock. If you are vin lock you will still need to send it in."

why would your vehicle be down? can't you just run it on stock tune?

For those that may know, question: If I get a procede unit and I want my tuner to to modify my tune/maps, is that possible? Is it gonna be possible with the VIN unlock feature? Or any map modification can only be done by Vishnu?
