My car has been sitting at the port since the 18th of Jan. Today, I went to the dealer and my CA told me that my car hasn't been assigned a ship yet. The US port of entry for my car is supposed to be Charleston. Does anyone have an idea which ship will be departing Germany for Charleston next? I ordered my car on the 21st of Dec and the wait has been excruciatingly painful. Help please!!!

Looks like there are sev ahead of me since I didn't order til 12-29 & comp 1-16...these ships hold betw 3,000 & 5,000 cars each...amazes me how many must be shipped out of B'haven..just looking at the schedules to USA..wow..still waiting & still giving me at the port for a vessel...

All of you are so lucky, been at the dock since last Thursday and no ship in sight heading this way. I pulled up some info and a ship is to be here around the 8th. Any one have a car coming from South Africa? The only good thing that it is sunny and warm so the car is not in the cold.

It is tourture, but I feel beter knowing ya'll are suffering to....Its like were all players in SAW 5, only this is more painful and more grusome but maybe w/ less blood.....maybe.

Damn I remember when I was were you guys are now.. My girl claimed I was stocking my car and she would file a report against me if I didn't get help. I'll tell you one thing, its more then worth the wait when you first drive that baby.

Strange that BMW customer service stops tracking the car once it is on its way to the port. They told me that and they did not even know what port it is at. How could you not know where the car you produced is sitting.

do you all hv the entire VIN on ur cars or only partial; I hv only partial; someone told me u hv to hv the entire VIN to put it in the WWL cargo tracking??? only hv 7 digits...I'm on a ship but don't know which one..

I'm on Maersk Wind scheduled to be in NY, NY on 02-10 & Charleston 2-12; her call letters are S6TY & voyage #EX802-MWI in case anyone wants to ck for theirs...she departed Zeebrugge, Belgium 02-01....

Any one know if your car is at the dock in SA will a ship pick it up and head to Bremerhaven or just go from SA to the West Coast?
I am still at the dock heading into my 2 week. With no ship. |

I have checked everything everyday. It is still at the port somewhere in Africa I think it might be Port Elizabeth so now I am going on 3 weeks since the 24Jan. There are ships coming this way yet who knows where they are going I hope to the West Coast. Yet someone said that they do not have lots of cars to fill up a ship so maybe they are waiting till more cars come to the port. I am not sure the WW lines come to Port Huememe

Well just called the 800 number and I guess they finally put the car on a ship it said in transit not sure what that means could someone answer that for me. Now I will see how long it takes to get to the West Coast.
