Rust on calipers and rotors
Has anyone ever had this problem?
I have rust on part of my calipers and on the hub of my rotors, front and rear. Will the warranty cover this and replace the parts? Let me know if you guys have experienced this. Any one know a dealership in so cal that will take care of this? Thanks |

I think that is normal, if you drive the car and use your brake it should come off. Mines does that when it rains

I bought some high temperature rust prevention black spray paint from rustoleum to spray on my rotor hubs...The rotors itself come off when you use your brakes...

I painted the rotor hubs silver to prevent rust.

Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes.
