How to tell if already have upgraded angel eyes?

Well i bought a kit from BMS, and i kind of think they are already upgraded. They seem very bright for stock and they dont have that yellowish dull color. I get brighted like once per night cause people think my brights are on.

I just got the car and it already had a few upgrades, all lighting inside and license plate were upgraded to LED. My car is a 09 e92. They are much brighter then on my 07 e90 was.

Remove one of the bulbs and see if it's an LED or Halogen bulb

Sounds like you have HIDs in there. Pop the cover on the headlight and take a look.

The cover on the top of the headlight? Or do i have to jack up the car and take the tire and fender well cover? Also how do i tell the difference between the stock and aftermarket setups?

On E92 it's the cover on top oh the headlight.
LED's and HID's have external ballasts. Pop the cover off and see if there are any boxes in there. You can also clearly see the bulb itself with the cover off.

If they look like they are lit up with candles, then they are stock!

Would a stock 07 E90 and a 09 E92 parked next to eachother both be the same brightness if they were both stock? Or did they upgrade them in the later years?

a stock 07 E90 would have halogens, an e92 (any trim level) will have xenons.

BIG difference.

for the 07 E90, you can tell if it has xenons if it has the corona rings (angel eyes / halos). if it doesnt have corona rings, it is halogen headlights.
