LED fogs replacement

Hi I have a 2011 e92. I wanted to switch the halogen fogs to some LED bulbs that would match the rings and HIDs in color. I have read how some will give a bulb out error, perhaps because the wattage isn't as high?

Do you guys know any bulbs direct plug and play that won't give a light out error? Also recommendations on a good set? I've been eyeing superbrightleds.com and ijdmtoy.com for bulbs.

I think these will not trip the error, anyone with more insight have a better idea? http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Max-50W-H8-...s-p/sku346.htm

Thanks for you help.

The temperature rated on halogens are very different from LED's.

LED 5000k = Halogen 9000k if that even exists.

How do I code out those errors? As in ask the dealer to do so?

get someone local from the forums to code it out. I met up with someone in boston and he coded a bunch of stuff for me. Id post something in your regional section.

Also the "k" in 5000k stands for kelvin which refers to the color temperature of xenon lights. Its commonly used to describe the color of lights in general though

4500k - yellow
6000k - white
8000k - light blue
10000k - blue
15000k - purple

The only thing is the higher the color temperature the lower the light output

You'll also need the error cancellers to get rid of error codes on these led fogs.
