M3 rear spoiler
Hi All,
Has anybody had any success in ordering an M3 rear spoiler from an AUS dealer? E93 - is there a reason why you had to get yours from the US? Thnx Matt

Gday maximka,
Did you try going through a local dealer? Past experience in trying to order genuine M3 parts without a M3 VIN# results in hitting a brick wall. EDIT: just realised you are in Moldova... so ignore the local dealer part

BMW Sydney have the M3 spoilers but they say it won't fit on a e92 335. I think it is absolute BS, but its safe to say that the vendors here can supply ones that will fit perfectly.

I'm sure the boot lid is one of the few body panels that the E92 M3 shares with the other 3 series coupes. There shouldn't be any reason that it wouldn't fit.

i ordered mine from the US mainly because it's an exact replica of the OEM version so it's cheaper.
dont forget you'll still have to get yours painted and that will cost extra. i paid AUD$230 for mine including shipping AND paint. |

Just got off the phone from the dealer... they say they can order one for me, price: $335 for the spoiler. I am waiting to hear if this includes the double-sided tape.
The price to have it painted and installed by the dealer was too much ~$800 - needless to say I have ordered just the spoiler and will have it sprayed locally and fit it myself. I have decided to get the OEM spoiler from the dealer as a) I prefer to have genuine items b) I don't want to have to wait weeks for it to arrive and c) I can be guaranteed it won't be damaged when it arrives.

The Brisbane BMW body shop quoted me $160 to have my E90 M3 lip spoiler painted. Other body shops were quoting $100. In the end, I knew someone who painted it up and it only cost me a bottle of scotch. Just picked it up and it looks sweet..... will put it on this weekend.
In all honesty ..... OEM or replica ..... it makes no difference. They look the same and made of the same material. Once it's on the only visable difference is to your cash in hand. |

Hey Matt - e92 spoiler won't fit e93 - so bought a specific e93 design from the US! Was supplied painted $US240 from memory. Excellent quality as well.

Yes .... USA BMW dealers have access to them now but they wont ship to Australia and since the E90 M3 is not sold here, I doubt that the local dealers will bother to get one in for you.
I purchased an E90 M3 replica spoiler from M-Force Design. They are a forum sponsor and have a group buy going. They wern't able to paint mine in Le Mans Blue so I purchased it unpainted. (Le Mans Blue is the only colour they were not prepaired to paint) I had it painted on Tuesday and installed it last night. Quality is fantastic and looks teriffic (IMO). I think it now completes the M-Sport package. I might take pics on the weekend and post. OH ..... and price is so much less than an origional. |

So the double sided tape must make up for the extra cost, it all makes sense now...
