Motown eBay....
Very good prices, one of the worst parts guys ever, Mike Dos Santos. You think he was a Spanish looking guy but no he is a fat white guy who is pissed at the world. Let me start from the top;
Inquire if I could pick up the parts since I live about 20 min away. Emails back says yes in a sorta rude way. Tell my girl to pick them up. She calls, Mike is very rude and says I have no idea what you are talking about I didnt speak to anyone about them, she asks where dealership is hes like Bank street and hung up. Fast forward a week later, I purchase them on eBay, ask them to pick them up and someone responds politely that I will be refunded the shipping cost. GREAT! I call up the dealer, making sure that they will be there after lunch, since I have to go at lunch. Speak to a "Mike" not sure if its the same one, but he is kinda weird on the phone; doesnt even say Hello or Thanks or Goodbye. Rude motherfucker. anyway so I get there and no1 is at the counter as is my luck. Wait about 2 min, fat white guy comes out. Mike:Can I help you? Me: Yes i spoke with Mike about picking up eBay item. Mike: With me? Me: is your name Mike Dos Santos? Mike: yes but i dont remember speaking with anyone about it. Me: well either way i like to pick up parts Walks over to computer types on keyboard, ask if I paid, which is yes. He walks in the backroom. Another polite guy comes out and Im like is something wrong with that guy?? hes like yea hes got some problems. Whatever that dudes name is deserves a fucking beer. he was awesome. handed me the box and im outtttttt. sorry my rant for today. tho i will have blacklines installed on my monaco blueeeeee |

Hmmm... I had a good experience while picking up my Black Lines. The guy that took care of me was Filipino, though.

i LITERALLY was just going to ask where is the best place. see the problem is that Morristown Mini and BMW are the same company but different places but they keep the eBay parts dept at the Mini dealer, which is in a totally different place. stupid....how much was it from Motown? did u get it from there eBay?

well..the BMW place isnt big enough to store parts but their mini dealership has more space. i always ask them to send it to the BMW side but this time I'm going to the Mini store since i dont have any service appointments. Crown BMW is cheaper but after shipping it's more expensive.

I'm not defending Motown by any means but eBay items are sold on slim markups and they derive profits from shipping charges. They could have not allowed you to pick them up but did so, thus reducing their margin. No excuse for their rude behavior though.

Morristown BMW is owned by Ryan Automotive. Ryan auto owns Morristown, Denville, and Open Road(edison) BMW. They are building a new BMW dealership in Roxbury on Rt. 46.
Ryan Auto is huge they own Honda and mini and other brands also. I hate Morristown BMW. But I get good service from Denville BMW.
