What would you pay for plug n play?
Regardless of the tune (JB2, Helix, V2, AA Processor, CPe), how much more would you pay for PNP on top of the regular price of the tune?
JB2 = 379 + choice above V2 = 1300 + choice above Attache = 795 + choice above Processor = 695 + choice above (if you think it should be less then choices above than list amount below)

Do I not understand the question...where is SSTT? Certainly well worth the going rate at $600 or usually less.
But then, half the time I don't know what the hell you guy's are talking about anyway!!

Part of me says it should be included in the normal price - Just consider it providing excellent customer service and a "thank you" to loyal customers!

SSTT is already PNP.. this thread is referring to the tunes that are not PNP (unless one wants to pay extra, as the thread states).

I would pay whatever it takes. However, a plug and play harness should not be more expensive than US$150 over the normal harness provided with the product, IMO. So, e.g. if the normal harness for product x would be US$200, the PnP harness for this product should not be more than US$350.

The price for the v2 harness upgrade was $150. I can't even begin to imagine what the price for upgrading to the new pnp V3 harness will be. Personally, I've sunk enough into this as is.

Price check. Can I get a price check for Terry at BMS? LOL.
Anyway, for a product that is all hardware and the only benefit of the PNP is faster install, ~ $20. For a product where there are additional features along with faster/cleaner install... more than $20. |

Is there any indication that any tune other than Procede V3 is heading in the PnP direction? It would be great if it would become the norm, and I think it would boost sales to those that were not open to tuning before. It seems like the next logical thing to make universal among tunes.

IT should be:
Actual cost of connectors with 15% markup, Labor/harness assembly, A reasonable R&D markup. Shipping If someone could provide the connector/wiring harness costs we could do some estimates. |

I can't really figure out why you started this poll. Is it because you really do have a genuine interest? Or is it to try and get a few more shots at vishnu. You are by far the number one JB fan on this forum....which is fine....but I'm having a little trouble believing you don't have a hidden agenda.

i think it should be included in base cost of the tune. they'll make the profit up in volume. its just the next version of the product. the product shouldn't get that much more expensive every time a new version comes out.
if anything it should be a % of base cost increase, maybe 5-10% more. |

Quality and convenience is #1 to me. I don't have time to be fooling with non-PnP devices, and I definately don't want limp modes. HP per dollar spent is second when it comes to importance.
That is why I own the SSTT. If I could have gotten a PnP version of the JB2 for the same price, I would probably have it. It would have been worth another $300 for the convenience alone.
