So thursday my rims are getting taken in for paint...

Setup: Sitting in the living room the other night my wife says "If I tell you something about your car, do you promise not to get mad?" LOL.... Needless to say I wasn't happy. Went down stairs to storage and she showed me one of my summer rims that she damaged while I was deployed. Two ended up needing to be fixed. I took them and and both would have to be repainted after he fills the chips. SO, I figured if I have to get them painted anyway....

This will be the last time we see these... I'll give you a hint as to the color... PPG 0048!! Should look awesome!

haha damnit the suspense was killing me..i did a similar color on my LMs...loved it, and im sure itll look great on those wheels and your car, ill be watchin out for pics

Just to update, I will drop them off today, they get sent in to paint tomorrow, get painted Saturday, and I will pick them up Monday. Was hoping to get them picked up sooner, but better than nothing I guess...

False. This was one of my damaged rims before I even took it in for paint. And besides, it is leaning on the backside of the rim, and I set it down very slow in the first place.

So I finally got a chance to shoot some pictures today after washing my car. Just got out of the hospital after being there for nearly two weeks, so it was just a quick wash and shoot today. My camera is washing light real bad lately so some shots came out bad, even after leveling editing on Photoshop... I'll try to get some better shots up soon with a DSLR.. I also included my Replica Carbon Fiber Performance Spoiler I installed today.

Hope you enjoy them! They were painted using OEM Lamborghini Metallic Gray Paint. I know they look like any other gray rims, but it sounds cooler anyway. Haha.

Is it gunmetal or ferric grey on your wheels? They came out 100%

Me Gusta! It came out great, what an amazing color for wheels!

Although I'll be completely honest, I'm really not a fan of the dark tinted stripe over the blinker area of your tails. I really don't think it flows well at all, sorry...
If I were you, I would get E92 LCI tails (euro amber blinker of course!) and get a very, very light tint over that.

Read the pic post (#17) it says they were powder-coated using a Lamborghini Paint color. Come on now
