Frames

Happy new year fella's!

I'm after some frames for photos. I really can't seem to get sizes locally to fit. Does anyone know of any online framing companies they recommend?

Thanks

Carlos, get yourself down to Wilkinsons - they do a huge range of ready made picture frames - loads of designs and sizes and with mounts. Much, much cheaper than getting them done bespoke.

Ok thanks Peter. Although every place I've tried so far have not been great.

I may take the trip to Wilko's then.

Carlos, photos come in standard sizes, so do frames, what do you mean they don't fit?

Unless you've odd-sized them and printed the pics yourself, they'll be a standard size.

i.e. usual photos are 6x4.

Dough, they are larger than normal sizes. They have a white frame around them. Do they include that in its size for framing or just the photo itself?

I would think The pic itself. Measure the size of the actual picture excluding the white border and see if its equal to standard sizes.

+1 just measure the picture, common regular sizes are 6x4, 7x5, 8x6 inches.

look at these standard sizes http://www.frames.uk.com/standard_pi...ard_frames.htm

Even if yours aren't standard sizes, you can either leave some white border (some will be hidden by the frame anyway) or trim the photo down to the next size.

Have you printed them yourself?
