Audio conversation questions

I have an 06 325i with the head unit built into the top of the dash instead of the middle.. Unfortunately it went out. I can't seem to figure out what's causing it. I unplugged the 30 amp fuse an then it'll turn on for about two minutes then blacks out. Any ideas of what this could be that causes that? I was told the rear amplifier on the left side or then main ccc unit. I was thinking to possibly stick an aftermarket unit in if that's possible.. Which I'm thinking it's probably not going to work due to the location of the screen. Please help, going crazy trying to solve this issue.

Cheers
Nick

FYI

If its an old car 06 and you haven't had your battery replaced it would be a good idea to check that before going further.
These cars have the ability to turn stuff off when the battery is low.
About 6 years is the most you can get out of a battery.
Try charging the battery and see if the problem goes away for awhile.
See electrical pdf below.

Well have you made in progress?

Well have you made in progress?
Did you check the battery ?
I don't believe I have seen anybody on here retrofit and I drive car
with and aftermarket stereo . Doesn't mean it hasn't been done.
Trouble with and aftermarket head unit in these is there are a lot of things
attached to it and when you pull it those things stop working . Things such as BMW Sos , PDC , Bluetooth and cdc. Plus if you ever have to go to a dealer
the BMW diag computer won't work with the car unless it sees the original configuration of the car with the Radio and all the options that were initially installed. It is possible to enhance the sound quality though.

Thanks for the info! Much appreciated. I tested my battery & it's still golden. I'm dead set on it being the main CCC due to the fact it wouldn't always read my cd that i had in it. I'm going to BMW soon to have them diagnose it for me & go from there. I found a refurbished CCC from ECS Tuning for around 260 with a 130 core fee included. I'm also stuck on figuring it out too because my back left window wouldn't roll up one night then the next morning it rolled up just fine.. very confusing!

Cheers
Nick
