Aircon problem..?

Hey guys, i have an 06 320i E90

I bought the car from a private seller at the beggining of this year. I hardly ever use the aircon, maybe on random occasions every now and then, thats mainly cause i dnt drive the car alot.. it only done about 48000km's. Recently the aircon stopped giving out cold air, it turns on normally and can be adjusted to give out hot air although when i put it on coldest temp it just gives out normal air..?? im thinking it probly needs regassing but wth, the car is still new, my brother has a 95 supra and he never needed regassing.. what else could it be..? ill take it in 2 get cheked but just wondering if anyone else has/had this problem b4..?

Can you hear the compressor firing up when you press the AC button ?

It might have just ran out of gas for the air-con. Goto your local mechanic and they could probably organise someone and recharge the gas. If you live around the Burwood / Haberfield area in Sydney, I could probably recommend you a place and have the a/c look at. Shoot me a pm if you want the details.

Have you checked that the little rotary switch (with blue and red on either side) is on the red side... i don't quite understand how it works other than to say that it controls the temperature..
