Which Tires Are The best For My 335i?

Hello all,
I am in the market for a brand new set of tires. Well, really All I need is to replace the rear run-flats that came with the car( Bridgestone Potenza)
Anyway,
I am willing to change to regular tires or just get the rear replaced.
I would like to know wich is the best option for me 335i.
I live in SoCal and dont really need special weather tires..and it hardly rains
so just summer for the most part. I would like grat handling and sticky for street of corse. I am running AccessPort only.
Let me know what you think

You cannot go wrong with either of these:

- Hankook V12
- Vredestein Ultra Sessanta
- Continental DW
- Michelin PSS

Great bang for the buck - Hankook Ventus V12's or Continental DW's, BFG RE760's. If you're looking to spend a bit more, everyone will agree that Michelin Pilot Super Sports are the way to go. Very sticky tire with decent tread life. I would recommend replacing all four if you're switching to non-runflats.

This exact question was posted recently, either by you or someone else. If it wasn't you, be sure to consider whether you ever want to drive across the Sierras in fall or spring, or over the Grapevine in winter, because there is an excellent chance you will encounter winter weather conditions doing any of those.

In which case, you might want to try the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+, instead of summer-only tires. A bonus is they will last about 50% longer, as well.

If you don't track the car, you probably will never notice the difference between the A/S+ and PSS. You really don't want to take a summer performance tire anywhere near snow or ice.

I can attest the PSS have excellent grip, very good wear compared to my previous owned PS2s, and lower tire noise.

Are the Ventus v12's going to be worthless when used not in the summer time? When it rains?

No problem with wet traction on summer-only tires. Just keep them out of the ice and snow.

We just ordered Michelin PSS all around (non run flat) for our 335i coupe. It's supposed to be the best tire, and reviews from Tirerack and Car & Driver made it easy to choose them.

My Porsche 911 had Yokohama ADVAN AD08 on, they were also very good tires, grippy, very sharp turn in and steering feel and pretty quite.
