Auto Tranny Issue
Ok guys while i was out doing some late xmas shopping. Im on this two lane road with lights ever half mile or so.
So you can see the light from another light your stopped at well as i come closer to the light it turns red well i put my car in to Neutral and coast up to the light and to my luck it turns green befor i hit my brakes. Well as i put it back in to Drive i notice everytime it kinda slips and catches into gear and when i let off the throttle it drops and idles like i put it back into Neutral then when i give it throttle it pickes up catches in to gear and goes. This happened for a while till i came to a stop light made a compleate stop and put my car in to DS then back to Neutral and it shifts normal again. This is also not the 1st time ive noticed this it happened once befor over a year ago. So anyone have a clue as to what might have caused that? I also noticed when im doing about 60mph and i hit the throttle 100% when it down shifts it slams the gear hard enought for the car to jerk. And me to be like shit did i brake something. Ive over looked tranny mounts rear end mounts and all. And nothing they are all still good. So i wonder has this happened to anyone else as well? |

You shouldn't drop you car into nuetral to and then try to reengage the transmission while moving....that's your problem.

This is what you do
Warm up the car by driving. Come to a stop in drive and wait. If you feel vibrations and sort of a kicking thing (light will come up) it sounds like your gear ratios. |
