I'm not sure you can call $199 downpipes (which fit perfectly and are confirmed stainless steel) a joke...I know of alot better jokes

going to try to set up an appt with EPL next week to hit the dyno and get it dynod stock...see what she puts down. Dans E93 should be accompanying us if it gets back from the dealer in time.

The week after i will be going back with the downpipe (once i confirm fitment) and possibly throw the JB3 on as well. Going to see how much of a difference it makes
lets get er done!
lots of people are waiting for this setup!

I am so happy... this 4" downpipe would just be icing on the cake. (I may wait for the catted version though)

and that is my dilemma. I have the new remus race exhaust and it's amazing, I don't want rasp to spoil what I now have. So... upgrading to this new 4" catted version may be the right approach.......... no smell, no rasp... increased flow....

and less black crap on ur bumper above your tips! thats just my opinion, but full catless on most cars to me gets annoying, a HFC will still flow jsut as much as a catless, maybe 2 hp less...wtf is 2hp less with a beast
if i keep my stock exhaust i will do catless, if i change it i will do a hfc

Hey Andrew... can you post a quick cellphone pic of the OEM N55 downpipe for comparison?

Thanks,

Can't wait to see how you're going to squeeze a high-flow cat in there. Sign me up for one of those!

Will do as soon as we build another one. Tweaking a couple of things per suggestions from Matt, will have a (hopefully) final pipe to him next week. Stay tuned!

andrew wouldn't it be more efficient if you tried to find someone local to test fit it as I am sure there are alot of people with N55 by now, and make changes right on the spot instead of shipping it from West Coast to East Coast for every little tweaking?

Wow I am so surprised! People dont drive BMW in Colorado?? Damn

If you were in New York you would have a line of people waiting to test fit these knowing that testing them will yield them the reign of being the first to have something and also a FREE setup and install of the DPs!!

+1

I'm surprised no one is willing to drive to them for a free DP... Even if they aren't in Colorado, someone in a neighboring state should be willing to go to them... But alas, no one is willing...

2k miles is too far for me (plus I wouldn't be able to explain to the wifey why the car had to go to colorado for two weeks)

Too Bad Matt couldn't do the required measurements for you (AR) send you his findings, and you guys make a DP for the X5 Ahhh I can dream can't I?
