So far the "Mod List" has been created thanks to the endless info on here and parts will begin arriving soon.

Anyone know someone who does coding in the Katy area? Interested in a few things ie. remote windows, maps update, lighting.
http://www.bmcoding.com

I had the guy coded me a couple things, including DVD in motion and Navi maps update.

Join us on E90post Houston on FB group.

Thanks for the info.
I was considering BMCoding but really would like to see it done so I can pick up a cable and try more down the road. I guess I'm after someone who can code and doesn't mind training a newbie.

I sent a request to join the FB group but haven't been "accepted" yet.

I have plans to make my way over to ABR to have walnut blasting done. My car doesn't show any symptoms that I am aware of but I don't have anything to compare it to either. Car has 59k miles and I doubt the previous owner had this service done.
I'd like to have a clean slate (bill of health) prior to the modfest starting.

Yeah, walnut blasting. I'm going to have ABR do it for me when I get my valve cover gasket done. Let me know how it goes...

Does anybody in the Houston area know where I can get:

A decent priced oil change
The navigation update on the pre lci 335i
and last but not least the performance exhaust

Contact dracon@gmail.com for the map update.
$50 for the FSC code and download the maps and you're good to go.
He had the code to me in less than an hour, it took about an hour to download the maps and put them on a flash drive and 45 minutes to update it the car.
Very easy process and much much cheaper than the stealership.

I use James Cross at Momentum SW, he is alright.

I would avoid BMW West at all cost.

Will do, when I get around to doing it. I did update the maps on my own. It was really pretty easy. Downloaded the maps and had a guy on here send me an FSC and that was about it.
I could find the info if you need it.

I talked to a guy near Pasadena that does coding, $50 for whatever you want done but I'm rarely on that side of town. I may end up buying a cable and figuring it out on my own. If you're interested in learning too, let me know. I may split the cable cost with you as I can't imagine why I would need one much past coding. I think they are ~$90-$100.

Do you mean the E90Post Houston?

Good luck with that! I have requested to be added about 4 or 5 months ago and still nothing.
I wish there was a way to message it to say who the hell I am so I can look to see what is going on in Houston with E90Post....!

Yep, me too.
Maybe we should just start another FB group.

On a side note, does anyone have any suggestions for a DP?
Ideally I want something that doesn't increase exhaust volume (sound not volumetric area) too much. The older I get, the less I care to have loud exhaust plus conference calls in the car are a daily occurrence for me.
Customer: Are you in the car?
Me: Yep, doesn't it sound awesome?

I figured that would be the case and am fine with it as long as it's not so much that calls via speaker phone are problematic.
Anyone care to share experience using the speaker phone with their DPs?

I may be concerned for no reason, move never been in a 335 with DPs.

I'm in Cypress, TX and work in Katy. Does anyone take trips to the 1/4 mile track out in Sealy? Been there once and ashamed at my first times. I'm ready to go back and get more practice in!

Hey guys, can anyone recommend a shop that does good work for exhaust systems? I want to swap out the chrome exhaust tips for black ones.

Thanks!
