Spore, coming Sept 7th for Mac and PC

The same guy who brought you the SIMS has a new development, well, new if you consider 8 years in the making, new. I have been watching this game for a while now and it is getting close to launch! I’m pretty pumped, looks rather entertaining!

DUDE I JUST GOT HTE GAME..........fun stuff!! gets a bit repetitive though......unless you make new creatures...I guess I need to go buy it to play online...

Warhammer Online open beta startslate tonight, that may absorb all my free time first.

EDIT: Yeah I first heard about spore in 2001? They took long enough to get it out the door.

i played it for 2 days now. it is the MOST addicting game ive played. and ive played WOW. I only slep for 3 hours because i was playing Spore this morning before coming to work. omgggggg im tired

Non Intel Mac FTL... bought the game, but I have a Mac (for work), it is a 3 year old G5 (just before Intel, still using Motorola) and I am now stuck with a ~$58 game I cant even play. Love how they advertised the shit out of it being a Mac and PC game, but they left out the part where it is only playable on Macs than technically can play ANY PC game. LAME!

Wasn't there some System requirements listed on the box spelling out what type of Mac was required ??

Yes, I meet all system requirements...

except for a intel core duo processor >.<

Its not until you open it and look at the booklet that it says "Note: This game will not run on PowerPC (G3/G4/G5) Mac systems (PowerMac)."

I don't have dual core, it still runs flawlessly.......I just wish it supported dual GPUs! it gives me an error that my drivers are out of date...but they're not...so I have run it in single-gpu mode......
