Experiance at BMW of San Diego; run flat tires

Mr. Greg Pendleton
Manager – Customer Satisfaction
BMW of North America, LLC
P.O. Box 1227
Westwood, NJ 07675-1227

Dear Mr. Pendleton,

I own a 2006 BMW 330i and enjoy the automobile (VIN WBAVB33566KR81101). The car is equipped with “run flat tires” and consequently has no spare tire. I had a flat and called the local dealer, BMW of San Diego, for roadside assistance. The service person told me that there was no roadside assistance available for flat tires and I should “limp to a gas station” put air in the tire and make my way to the dealership repeating the procedure as necessary. The voice on the phone was confident that it was likely only in need of “a computer reset”

The dealership found a leak in my tire and repaired same for a total cost of $63.50! (not covered under warranty). This is outrageous for a tire repair done in the shop.

I had to “chase” the Service Consultant, Bryian Gadd by phone. I left numerous messages and didn’t even get the courtesy of a call back. I finally reached him at 8AM this morning. I am dissatisfied with the way this was handled.

When I close my eyes, I can see a 3-pointed star in my future.

Very truly yours,

BMW of SD sucks anyways. The only good service guy is Steve Pellitier, but since the change to United Auto Group, service has gone down hill, and they have limited his ability to "treat you well"

I do most everything at Cunningham now.
