MILVs ???

Does anyone know the guy who makes the MILVs? I've been trying to buy a set off his website for months and they've been out of stock. Is he not making them anymore?

I emailed his site but never got a response.

Bump.

Just got major maintenance items done and it's time to MILVS

Could it be easy to replicate? Anyone have detailed pics?
Web page says 6 machining steps so it might not be only about lowering the bracket, but I suspect the tracking surfaces have been reprofiled to archive both 0.2mm minimum position and +1mm to maximum.

bUMp the thread!

I tried the "Contact us" form. Fifty-sixty if it works. After pressing send the loading spinner animation just continued in perpetuity.

Where is MILVS from?

Dude, did you try googling bmw milvs? It’s latterly first result that you get. Reach out to Marty and see if he has any. I might have his email somewhere if you care.

Ehm.. if you mean the milvs homepage that is what we have been talking about. If it is still active.

That thread not visible in my first google results. I may have seen it before but didn't register it was the original development thread. Should have known the guy is from forums ofc. Very useful! Thanks dude!

Yeah, this is embarrassing. My reading comprehension was shit.
Marty is no longer on forums. Some dickhead vendor complained about him about selling MILVS.

What’s wrong with selling MILVS?

I believe he refused to pay vendor fees while selling a profitable product on the forums which is a no no and gets your ass banned.

Ok he’s a cheap skate, if a platform is helping your sales and wants a small cut, so be it

Is it still possible to contact him somehow or did he stop making them?

He’s a good guy. Who knows how many points they wanted, or whether it was even based on sales (I’m guessing it wasn’t). Unlike a lot of the stuff that gets promoted here, there aren’t any substitutes for MILVS and the demand seems pretty high (heard of lots of people waiting to buy them, myself included).

No doubt about it: If you want to sell something here, those are the rules, but I really don’t blame him for telling them to suck his balls.

My MILVS arrived last November.
I made an enquiry in late September, and they responded that the product wasn't immediately available, but they were in the process of machining a batch.
The MILVS showed up 6 weeks later, and that included them crossing an international border.

All received in good order.

You ordered them from the MILVs website?
Have you installed them?

Marty e-mailed me as soon as they were available again, and then I ordered off the website.

MILVS have just been installed, and headers too!
The tune still needs to be installed, so I have no review yet.

A buddy of mine reached out to Marty, sounds like 2-3 month wait on the next batch.
