Hey I am new here and I am in the metro area. I just recently bought a 2007 335i Coupe 6speed and and wanted to see if there's anything important I needed in to in regards to owning a 335i (sorry, its my first BMW). Coming from a Nissan Stanza this is quite a major improvement!

I have a 328i but the biggest concern with the 335i is the fuel pump. It has been known to fail and BMW has been replacing the fuel pumps under a 10 yr- 100K miles recall. I believe once you past 100K miles you may be on your own. I hear the turbos can also be problematic but other than that I hear it's a fun and pretty good car. Keep up the normal maintenance and you should be ok. I would only use the dealer for some maintenance if it is CPO or under an extended warranty. Otherwise you need to find a good independent shop or DIY so you can save yourself some $$$$.

Might have to bring the wife out to the Friday one. I just picked myself up a 335i. Long time BMW guy but first e92. I know tons of the guys over on BFC, would be nice to meet some of you guys.

The Varsity meet is a mixed bag. There are a lot of Japanese cars and a lot of college students and in between there will be a few real nice rides like you see at Caffeine and Octane. There are usually about 4-6 BMWs. Now the Gwinnett meet which is on Thursday has resurrected and started to improve now the duo of Speed and Mischief have gotten more involved with it.

Actually going today after work. they run about $125

Anyone have experience at United BMW Roswell Service when getting an oil change with a tune installed? I have a Procede. Can I just put it on Map 0 and take it in?

Related question: When I need to do emissions in a couple years, how is it done when I do not believe they can pull computer codes with the Procede installed even in Map 0.
