E92 335i - Broadway Statics - Hamann PG1
Haven't posted here in a while, so I guess it's time for an update.
I sold the the RS2's and air suspension and bought Broadways and a set of Hamanns that needed restoration. Also bought LCI tail lights, Z4 steering wheel and a front lip. I get a lot of questions why I'm going back to static, and it is just because I was tired of not having "perfect fitment" and adjusting up and down all the time. Sensors were a pain in the ass as well on this platform. It was time to go back to more simplicity. Another reason is that I think the E92 body looks better at driving height than "on the ground". My previos setup: Current setup Broadway Static 500s - 16/24k Hamann PG1 - Moonstone Silver centers, polished lips 9x18" et6 - 215/40 10,5x18" et13 - 245/35 Hope you like it.

I absolutely love the car!
Was the steering wheel/airbag swap a direct plug-and-play swap?

I love it! I almost bought a set with the same exact specs but It wasn't worth it to be to do all that work since I'm not going to be driving my car much in the next few years.

Thanks a lot guys, appreciate it

The steering wheel is a direct swap as long as you buy the airbag with two electrical connectors (dual stage like E90 has).

Whilst your previous setup personally did look better, I fully understand the want to go back to static for a simpler look and driving experience.

Thank you! No, just if I go up a steep driveway or something, but it is very driveable at this height. I had it 5 mm lower, but the rear wheels were rubbing constantly. Now it just rubs every now and then. I want to keep the same fender-to-lip-distance on front and rear.

Try and source some standard RS2's and send them to Spintech. They can make them for you.

Z4 steering wheel is my favorite part.
Where did you get the front lip? I can only find that style in carbon fiber.

Thank you! I really like the steering wheel.
Ebay. But the seller doesn't have it listed anymore. It was named something like "AK style front lip". Polyurethane is perfect, it takes a beating and is flexible.
