Hi Fubarsky,

If you are going to be part of the Dyno Day, you'll receive your PROcede the day of the event. Shiv will bring enough PROcedes for all the participants.

Dyno day

Thanks Calvin appreciate it. I'm good here with the schedule, so I won't look for it in UPS delivery, I'll just be there on the 5th. Have a good day.

Unhappy

Guys, I really hate to do this, but I won't be able to make the Dyno day. My car got hit yesterday while going to work .

A blue Volvo ran through a stop sign while we were driving through the street at a T intesection and slammed into the front passenger side wheel well. The car was spun around and I sprained my wrist on the steering wheel.

Airbags deployed and at least my wife and I are safe for the most part. Luckily we were able to walk away from this. The volvo driver was also safe, which is good, but she appeared to be limping a little.

Unfortunately, the car is missing the front right corner side. The front wheel was pushed into the engine bay and it looks like the engine is toast. I wasn't able to check out the rest of it as we were taken to the hospital to be checked out.

We are both kind of shocked still and I am now feeling like getting a larger car, as much as I enjoyed the 335. Maybe the 535, who knows. Anyways, I'm really sorry I won't be able to make it and will most likely not be owning a 3 series after this as well.

Nothing wrong with the car as evidenced by us being able to walk away from this kind of accident, but my wife is kind of traumatized by the experience and doesn't want to sit in that small of a vehicle for the time being.

That also means I will have to cancel my Procede order as well. I hope there's a refund policy.

Anyways, thanks for the great community here. I have learned a lot about the cars and really enjoyed the intelligent discussions here, even though I lurked through most of it. :P

stil - wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. I glad both you and your wife are ok. There's no reason to apologize for missing the procede install. You have one helluva reason. I have no doubt that in this situation vishnu will take care of you. I hope after a little time you guys won't give up on the 335, but it's understandable if you do. Glad your both safe, good luck, and will take some pics!

First thing that came to mind was "glad you're ok" -- don't sweat missing the dyno day. No big thing. And, come to think of it, "glad you're ok" is the second thing that comes to mind, too.

Thanks for your support, everyone. I will try to get some pics later and assess the damage.

It happened off of highway 202 on 90th St. right in there, there is a T intersection. I have no idea why the lady ran through as there is no street on the other side to go to at 35 mph through a stop sign. It was an office complex place too.

Anyone at the Portland Dyno Day have a Modified Exhaust?

Does anyone attending the May 5th Dyno Day have a modified exhaust on their 335? I am interested in doing something, but would like to hear it first hand. Thanks.

hey you guys/gals from Portland...10 days and counting!!! Do any locals know where I can get some 93 octane? 97 would be even better. Even though we'll be in Vancouver, I'll be staying in Portland Friday night. thx. (I'd just fill up in my area, but I can't even find 93 up here! 92 is the highest I've used.)

In theory, I should have an Eisenmann Sport Performance on my E92 by then.

Modified Exhaust at Dyno Day

Thanks Jon. That's one of the systems I'm interested in.

I'm using Shell 92 but have not looked for anything higher down here. If there is some higher octane available I'd like to know as well.

We currently have 7 people committed; one of the fence sitters has indicated a need to either be the first AM or first PM slot, and murph-54 has indicated a need to be the first or second AM slot (depending on how long it takes per car). As I have never done a dyno day before, I don't really know how long it takes per car, but I would imagine since Shiv said the most we could realistically do in a day was 9, it takes an hour on average. When I have a few minutes, I will start a schedule subthread within this thread (unless someone wants to beat me to it ).

Thanks Jon. I would really appreciate being in the first slot if at all possible so that I don't have a problem catching my flight.

Just wanted to let the out of towners know (if you're coming in on Fri), the Hilton on 6th St. in Vancouver has underground, covered parking. This may not mean much for some, but it's an absolute must for me. Black saphire makes you anal! Here's the link:
