BMW of Dallas

They are smaller dealer in the Dallas area, but definitely customer oriented. They have really great customer service. Today, I went in for the TPM warning and I had a nail in each of my rear tires -- replaced for free under the tire waranty ()!
I also mentioned to them that my tyres are (again) becoming loud, they inspected the fronts and noticed the cupping issue -- and decided to replace the front tires for FREE! So, all 4 tires for free. THe bad thing is that I already had all four replaced for free in January, at 8000 miles (noise/cupping issue). I currently have 14,200 miles, and the car went through 2 sets of tires...

Great job BMW of Dallas!

Will BofD still be convenient for you when they move to the new location next year? I heard the new dealership will be at Lemmon & Inwood.

That, coupled with a bad experience with two CA's there, led me to go to Classic in Plano.

I had the exact opposite. Classic is a bunch of a-holes, especially their top brass. Your helping to pay for that $35 million dealership in the price of the car in the lack of discount they are willing to give customers. Bad customer service and car service in general. STAY AWAY FROM CLASSIC!

Does any dealer in the DFW do the standard $500 over ED Invoice?

Just trying to save time on my ED order . . . .

but did get a free alignment after purchasing the 328i from my complaint

also got a free detail at my choice of detailers in the metroplex area for free.

prob take it to classic for serivce since i know a tech there but i heard that classic over prices... this is also from one of the members on this forum's experience too with his m3 purchase

Has anyone here have experience buying a used CPO E90/91/92 from either Classic or BMW of Dallas?
How about the other BMW dealers here in the DFW area?

I just bought my 2008 CPO from BMW of Dallas about 3 weeks ago. I worked with Gary Aggas as the salesman. They don't negotiate much at all, and they start their prices out really high. The only time they offer good "deals" is if the car is in crappy condition.

Mine was in good shape overall however it had a few issues that I didn't notice until I'd already brought it home, and unfortunately they are totally unwilling to fix any of them. One of the issues I pointed out to Gary before I bought and he said they would fix it... but they didn't. These are small things like a chip in the windshield, the alignment being off, and the clearcoat flaking off one of the wheels. However, before the sale he was great to work with and very professional. I think the dealership just doesn't give him any room to work with.

I notice in general that BMW dealers are tight asses and won't even give you basic things under warranty like the alignment on a new (to me) car, reported the day after the sale, chipping clearcoat on the wheels (they said the previous owner may have used harsh wheel cleaner, I asked how it was certified with the flaking? They didn't have an answer.)

However if you pay their prices then they are very friendly and the whole process is pretty smooth. I chose to take the path of least resistance and just pay the damn fees, even though I feel like the issues should have been warrantied or done as a courtesy to a new buyer.

Great Experience with Gary Aggas

Just picked up my new 2011 335d yesterday. Gary Aggas was great to work with. He knows our cars (nothing more frustrating than a salesman who know half as much about the car then you do)

He is a great salesman to work with; he kept in touch with me over several months as I tried to settle on exactly what I wanted while I was trying to sell my old car. Never any annoying pressure. He went the extra mile on the small things.

In the end we worked out a good deal on the new car and better value on the trade. Couldn't be happier with the new car and highly recommend Gary to anyone shopping for a BWM.

+1 same experience - BMW of Dallas service would not perform alignment on my 2012 335is when I took it in just under 2,000 miles which is the cut-off for warranty alignment (said in test drive it was OK). OK fine. But they also would not fix the comfort access problems which the service advisor himself was able to duplicate when I picked up the car (google search "BMW comfort access problem youtube"). The service advisor said it's "functioning normally" and no further work would be done on it. Wow so this is their standard for "normal". I called BMWNA and they advised me to try to find a dealership more willing to put in the time to diagnose and investigate further.

I bought my first BMW from Moritz, they were sort of douchy about the experience but I think it was because I was a young buyer. I worked at Autobahan when I graduated from college for a few months as a hold over job, so I've always had a good experience there until recently with my wife's X3. Never been to BMW Dallas, but they always seem to have really good deals on used cars on AutoTrader, I was visiting a friend over that way a few weeks back and thought the dealership looked pretty good. All my friends with BMWs have bought from Classic and have nothing but good to say, but once out of warrenty they have always gone to AutoScope.
