My Amp Got Flooded and Blew Out, what are my options??

Hey All - so somehow my amp on my 09 335 got flooded and blew out and now there is no sound at all in my car, and its not covered under my extended warranty.

What do you all think is the best option for me here to replace or upgrade - I don't really want to spend a lot as im not a big audiophile, just need to get it working again for the cheapest possible price.

Thanks, Super

How did it happen? Something spill in the trunk?

I have no idea, my trunk was completely dry, just the amp bay was full of water - it was raining that day so I'm not sure why the amp bay filled with water, although I've driven in the rain for a year now.

so, miraculously - my amp came back on. I guess it dried out -

I found the cause of the leak also, and it was coming in through the tail light - pulled it out, caulked it up and hopefully it will hold.

Thanks!

Mine blew out a year ago due to the same issue. I ended up buying another amp. Fortunately, the amp happened to dry up on its own within a week and magically started working again. Thankfully yours came back!
