anyone bought a cable from ECUTOOL and if you had success coding with their cable? It said INPA Compatible? Also the purpose is to also see if this is a legit site (you can never be too careful when doing business online).

Ok, I see the different in the cable. The one I posted and the one you bought has a clear cable. The one that everyone bought has a black cable.
here is my EDIABAS file. The contents are identical to yours. I would think it should be different due to USB vs Serial. Anyone with a successful USB cable like to share thei EDIABAS file or have anything to add concerning USB vs Serial?

Has anyone worked on any cars dating from 2002-2004. I can use my cable to code 2008 R56, 2010 E90 without issue but when I try to code a 2003 M3, it will not let me. Is the cable not compatible? Do I need to get the serial port cable to work on older cars? In INPA it shows connected as both black but no matter what module I try to read, it fails and says can't connect or read it. Can anyone help me with this?

Is anyone else still getting hit with random connectivity issues or is it just me? I can still code but every once in a while it'll say transmission disturbed.
I have the updated com port settings that some people have. Doesn't have fifo buffers, etc. |

Sorry for another noobie question but hopefully one of you can help out.
What is the difference between when I select "ZSC/FA f. ECU" (F3) and it lists me like 3 modules, compared to when I select "process ecu" and it list like 20 modules? How can I code the NFRM which is one of the 3 ecu modules that appears the first time? |

Yes, the $85 USB eBay cable that is posted on the 1st page is the best one to buy.

Mmm... Seems nobody likes the DRL taillight delete...
I used trial-and-error approach and... finally I found the code today! "DRL_TFL_MIT_RL_BL_2" in NFRM change aktiv to nicht_aktiv Now my E92 turns on the DRL with AEs only. I updated the spreadsheet for those who are interested. |

Audio system settings for CIC iDrive added to coding database. May work for CCC iDrive and OEM HU as well, but at least the CCC audio system coding did not work in my 2008 CCC iDrive due to an unknown reason.
It does work 100% in my 2009 CIC iDrive. |
