Simota intake cleaning question
I need to clean my filter and was just wondering from you owners how its done. Do I need one of those recharge packs w/ oil (like the K&N one they sell at AutoZone or something) or is it just a wash and dry with warm water? Tried searching but didn't see anything.
Thanks guys |

I assume using the K&N Recharger kit wouldnt be much of a problem. Its an intake filter I cant really surmise that they would be drastically different from one another. Hope this helps

You can clean the filter with the spray that K&N offers, but -NEVER- oil the filter.
It is a dry racing filter, just like AFE but the Simota fiber utilizes a better breathing material. |

You don't wanna do the same mistake my friend did, he oiled his Simota Cone Filter and his car wouldn't start No oil, just clean it with the spray and then let it sit dry (overnight is best). |
