Once again, the OC site is faster than the 1-800 number. The phone still says in transit. I wonder why I have to wait until Wed. to pick it up when it's there already

BMW owners circle says "at final processing center" on the login page, says "at vehicle preperation center" on the status flash screen, and the 800 number says in transit...

is final processing center the same as vehicle prep center or is it thinking its at my dealearship?

No. Here is what it says on the home page...

Order Tracking - At center inventory
Your vehicle is currently At center inventory. Click here for more information or contact your BMW center for complete details.
And when I enter the flash screen, I get the page that I posted up above. I think you will def get yours before the end of the week! WHoooo!

I talked to the dealership and they had said the ETA was today, but I haven't heard back from them yet so I don't know if it actually arrived.

Question

what does the OC says once the car is at the dealership?

my OC doesn't let me see the order status anymore since sometime last week, so i have no clue what's going on. asked my CA today and should get back to me tomorrow. i do hope to get the car this week!

what's the 1-800 you're calling to get more accurate info?

i was on the SIRIUS LEADER which is what you guys seem to be referring to here as well. thread here in case that's your boat http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43185

the 800 number still says in transit... the login page of BMW owners circle says "at final processing center" and the order tracking page in BMW owners circle says "at vehicle prep center"

Yet my vehicle is here, 1200 miles north of the prep center, being readied for me to pick up in ... 1 hour 15 min...

when you're close, don't bother with the number or web sites... bug your dealer.

Well, my car is also on the Sirius Leader, and all OC shows is car is at VPC. I nag my dealer daily and they say my car is scheduled for release from VPC on 2-25:mad: . That will make it about 10 days at the VPC. I've bugged the ED department and they tell me the same thing, and that there's nothing they can do about it

Interesting...my CA told me that wait times at the VPC have been very quick. He said as fast as 1-2 days to the slowest of 3-4 days. He's expecting mine in at the end of the week?!

I think ED cars get the short end of the stick when it comes to the VPC. Priority 1 cars take precedence.

My CA said there was a "chance" that it could be released sooner. We'll see.

Ouch! Seems like ED cars should be Priority 1 also! Strange.
No new BMWs to Port Hueneme till Saturday, so maybe that'll help.

Picked up my new baby last night... LOVE IT

Mine went into the VPC on the 13th, a day earlier than scheduled, and came out of it on the 16th, 2 days earlier than scheduled. Last week my CA told me I would most likely be picking it up tomorrow... yet I already put 85 miles on it :P

I was on the Grande Sicilia, which sailed originally on 1/18

It seems a bit hard to keep under 70mph though....

LOL -- they already have your money.
Priority 1 is for cars that are sold but monies not yet collected.

CA told me mine would leave VPC on 2/28! ouch!

well, well... i'll make sure the garage is very very very clean in the meantime....

i just hope the estimate is dead wrong, that sounds like a lot of time @VPC

... but this is ED, I guess indeed we come last since we already paid, which sucks but i understand from their end that they want to get the sales finalized ASAP before folks change their mind

not worried about that, have had it to 100... easily... problem is avoiding a ticket! (speed limit is 60 most places around here)
