If you've signed your own cap, taken a spring to the face at 180+, and can't see over the steering wheel in a 599XX, give me a thumbs up

Hello everyone. I am new here, my names Levi. I came across this thread from a google search for des moines iowa and fender rolling ha. I drive an E46 but there is not much of a community around here for those. Its nice to see there are some other local people on here. I guess i could ask you guys, do you know of anywhere around D.M that does fender rolling? I am going to be ordering h&r springs for my car, but if i cant find a shop to roll my fenders i am not going to order race springs i will go with the sport so i dont have to worry about rubbing issues. Sorry for the long winded first post ha, heres some pics of my car. Hope to see you guys around!

Welcome. Nice car. Nice wheels (summer and winter)
I don't own a BMW, am a japanese-owning ricer and resident postwhore... That being said - Is that an orange Element I see in the background? Troy (royfbr) here has a 335i 4 door, a fender roller as well as an Orange Element... I am sure he will pop up and post. Don't know of any shops around here that roll fenders. Beemer - That eurowerkz gentleman roll fenders? I thought he did for BMW club of Iowa members or something? A few of us have rolled our own fenders here (borrowing Troy's roller), but we are not perfectionists. - Newer the paint, less chances it will crack when rolling. - Also, tons of heat with a heat gun will help keep paint from cracking. - Go slow and work it evenly. Eastwood also has a new fender tool called a fender finisher which seems easier to use, per se! Troy should buy one of those too |

OK cool, i talked to a guy from another forum i am on that lives in Ankeny and said he would roll my fenders for $20 per corner so i am thinking about going down that route. I actually drove all Nissans before my bmw, i've had an 87 maxima, 01 altima, and an 03 Maxima. Then i switched over to my current car. And yes you def see a orange element haha, its my mothers car. I temp live back with my parents, im 22 and getting married next year so i decided to move back in and save every cent i can till i get married. I figured its best to suck up the pride and live with them for a while so i can have alot saved back for after the wedding.

Ha I am liking this place already! I will for sure meet up in march and have you roll them! That way it will give me time to get my springs installed and the weather should be getting good enough to put my good wheels back on. I'm into photography a little bit also so when its nicer in the year I will snap some pics of any of your guys cars if ya want!

I like that fact that someone who has had my roller and heat gun for a year charges someone to do their fenders. I would offer to do it for free if I got my roller back but I suck and would crack your paint.
BTW nice car |
