Alright since you all decided tht this guy is going to spank me thn what should I do to atleast make him work for the win. Race gas with the latest map is gong in forsure. Will removing the hood help? How about the mufflers or xpipe will removing one of thm help?how about the back seat? Tire pressure? How about if I use the stock tires and rims?

I wish I can do the meth but their isn't time for that and I need some more time before I can afford that.

Your best bet and only chance is to put duct tape over the Z06's intake ports when the owner is not looking thus limiting the cars capabilities. Although with your latest 13.3 performance he might still beat you.

No point in racing a Z06, especially if it's a C6. It will just walk you by multiple bus lengths with ease.

Do NOT listen to everyone on here who actually has NOT raced a stock ZO6. If you are running race gas and meth at the same time and remove ur rear seats and passenger seats and run light weight rims with sticky tires you will hang in there but he will pull at the very end, but thats if YOU can drive perfectly.

It mostly depends apon the driver of the ZO6 too, I raced a ZO6 and the driver who was 18 and drives for BMW Formula 1 and he def drove the car faster and quicker than anyone I know. Like I said it depends apon the driver of the ZO6.

I won't be discouraged because of what everyone keeps saying. I have no meth. I am think about puttin back the stock intake and running it with the lid open.

The 20" inch rims are going to kill you. If you do not have light weight rims and very sticky tires, you really have no hope, plus running a full interior is going to hinder you too. Is the exhaust full? Are the exhaust and DP's fully catless?

Fully catless. So I should put the stock rims n tires on? Also remove the back seat.

dude, i would love to see a 335i beat a zo6... but its just not likely to happen. i bought my 335i fully knowing that it will never be a z06 type performance car. i think there are some people on here who need to realize this as well. you have yourself a great looking and quick car, but unfortunately, there ARE faster cars. and no, i dont think taking your hood off is going to help much, just more drag to deal with. plus, when the zo6 still beats you, it will look even worse for the 335 camp. i am saying all of this sincerely too man, not trying to be a dick or anything.

Wait, so Manuel owns both the cars? If that's the case choose the Z06 as it will win. That's my recommendation.

Get some custom ltw 17's, drag radials, meth, and strip the enitre interior including the trunk. You will still loose but you will probably put up a good race.

No, not stock tires. You need drag radials.

An LSD would also help.

With those additional mods, if you drive REALLY well and he drives REALLY crap, then you might do OK.

Some guys are saying you can hang with him...but what exactly does that mean and you say you want to make him work for his win. Again, what exactly does that mean? 1 car length, 2 car lengths, 5 car lengths?

BTW are you racing him for money or something? If not just do the best you can with the mods you have and time permitting change things up after a race or two and see if you guys can get a couple other runs in if you change some things on your car.
