There isn't a specific time frame.

Rick is offering a winter protection package, to detail and help protect our paint during the winter months, if you are interested and available for that anytime during the fall.

Rick is also going to offer a detailing package in the spring for all of those who have expressed interest.

I've gone down and met Rick. I am still really interested in seeing what he can do. Are these paint corrections permanent or is it more or less just covering up scratches, nicks etc that will eventually show their head again?

I saw his work on cars at his shop when I went by to check it out and they were damn flawless, but will they stay that way (until new damage occurs of course)?

I am very interested but working on getting a new front and rear bumper, hood and trunk first.

I dont know Rick, but I do know the process he's using.. His methodology is definitely a defect removal plan rather than a defect coverup. The cars, however, will only stay that way if they are not subject to the kind of abuse that put them in that condition in the first place. Ie, incorrect washing, incorrect waxing, amateur attempts at scratch removal, etc.

Of course it will not make them invincible, but yes I was essentially asking if it was a fix or a temporary coverup. At least a vast majority of the little nasties on my car are from the original owner

Geez, no. Where do you get the idea that this process has anything to do with 'covering up?' This process is a paint correction technique that uses decreasing levels of grit to remove the damage, not cover it up! It is the correct way to do it, and Rick is a pro, from viewing his many videos. Visit Autopia or Autogeek if you want to learn more about the process. The process is far from secret, and is used by, in one form or another, almost all detailers who know what they are doing. Rick just appears to be a master practitioner of the craft.
