Comfort Access for my house?
I looooove Comfort Access on my car. I would also love it if my house door and garage man-door would automatically unlock when I grab the doorknob. I've seen keypads, fingerprint readers, and other prox sensor systems, but nothing as hassle-free to use as Comfort Access. Does such a product exist yet?

There's really no average price per se because it's a custom system, but if you're looking to control a home theater and, say two lights in the same room, you can expect to pay under $1k MSRP for the Control4 hardware with the mid grade controller. Using the least expensive controller you can save another couple of hundred dollars.
There are some supporting items you'll need such as a UPS and for more extensive systems, a pro-grade router and network switch. I'm having a pretty big end of year sale, so you'll save a lot until the end of December. |

Why don't you use your home link on your rear view mirror? You can open your garage door, turn on lights/alarms, and basically anything you can plug into a home link module.
