lol, don't get me wrong, I have hooked up with a lot of girls, but never actually went on a "real" date with a girl.

I was just wondering what are the do's/don't... Do we go for a drink before etc? Also, I have hooked up with that girl in a bar... so she is somewhat interested ahahha lol.

If its a first date. - Take her to a semi-nice place for dinner. Order a drink if she does (ask her first), and relax/enjoy...

other obvious things:
Open the door for her, (car as well as building doors) and be on decent behavior to the waiter/waitresses
pay for the dinner/date

I used to be a waiter in college at a nice first date place and girlsdefinitley pick up on how you treat other ppl, especially the waitstaff.

If you get a nice kiss at the end of the first date, consider it a successful date.

It helps if you have a mutual friend or a specific event that you two shared to laugh about.

I find that also asking questions about her life (school, what she wants to be in 5 years, etc) will keep the conversation flowing.
