Clay Bar Question

I just finished claying both my car and my wife's Matrix this morning. Luckily I got done well before the rain hits. It really didn't take all that long, I don't know why I don't do it more often.

Question: Does claying remove all previous polis?.

I use Zaino products, but the claybar in question is meguiare's. I repolished using All-In-One which includes pre-cleaner just in case. The better polish & detailer goes on next weekend.

Claying does remove old polish that has been missed when you're buffing off the car before during the previous detail job. If you removed all polish before, then the claying shouldn't remove any polish because there isn't any to remove.

Claying does remove the wax applied from before (to an extent, it all depends on the situation).

If you're looking for a new claybar, I'd suggest Detail Addict Medium Grade Clay Bar (just click on the link it'd forward you to the page), its a medium grade makes it easier to remove the baked on contaminants.
