Coilover Sleeve Prep for winter

Hey Guys,

What are you using to avoid rusting of your coilover sleeves over the winter. I am looking at a spray and reading about garage door lubrication sprays , Silicone spray or a product called Krowns.

What have you used in the past that has worked and purchased in canada ?

When I had coilovers on my previous car, I sprayed chain lube on the threads and that kept it from rusting and seizing up. I sold the coilovers after 3 harsh Canadian winters and there wasn't a single bit of rust on them after I cleaned them up.

I currently have stock sport suspension on my e90, but when i had my honda accord, I made coilover covers for the winter....so they don't seize up...Pretty much used this thread as an example. Didn't break the bank either.

Kroil is hard to get in Canada. I've heard that Fluid Film works well and it's available at CT:
