09 LCI e90 328xi Ebay Splitters (pics)

purchased a set of Ebay splitters for $100 painted and shipped, came in yesterday and installed yesterday. Overall for $100 painted, you cant beat it, the pieces were a little warped and did not come with tape, but that gave me a chance to apply as much as i wanted where i wanted. i first bought the walmart scotch tape grey foam red back, woke up this morning and they were hanging a bit

so went to advanced and picked up the real 3m and applied plus added a discrete screw at the end and those suckers arent coming off.

and sebaNYC yours is not LCI and therefore prob has a dif bumber but check out his ebay page cuz he has all kinds of cheap stuff, but like i said, these were an odd fit but i pretty much just paid for paint i believe.

Nice, I'm actually watching a set of painted lci splitters and rear trunk lip on eBay, it's good to see how they look after a consumer install.

Haha! I was looking at this same post a few days ago. I also was looking at bumpers and figured this will suffice until funding becomes available. I was hoping to run into a member who bought these. I have a 09 335i Black Sapphire Metallic. How was the paint matching?

Your statement about the pieces being warped concerns me but i guess it wasn't too bad since you were able to install them without much hassel? Also, did the splitters come with the hole in them to install a screw? or did you have to drill the hole yourself?

The paint matched my jet black well as you can see however you get what you pay for. It may not show up in the picture but the paint looks kind of rippled like its bubbling but I keep pressing it and its solid. As you can see by one of the first pictures I had to put a ton of 3m on it in order for the piece to not peal itself off. The screw I screwed in myself by hand with a screw driver in the inner most tab. I'll get some more pictures sometime tonight.

No LCI and Pre-LCI bumper are different. You will have to look for one that will fit a pre-lci one.

As an alternative to the tape, I have some RTV type glue that came with some of my spoiler parts for another car. Anybody try that?
