Regarding insurance Admiral gave me a decent quote and I didn't need a tracker.
I lose sleep every night BT

I think dealers are lumbered with a lot of used cars at the mo.

Same here with Admiral.

No shadowline, more of a matt blackline.

Thats not true. I'm with Direct Line and a couple of days ago I went on their website and did a quote for an M3 - just for a laugh, expecting it to be much higher than my 330d. I got a quote no problem although they want a tracker fitted.
I did laugh - but in surprise and it came out at around £350 a year for a year old M3.

My local dealer has a lovely new White M3 with Comp pack plus a lot of other OE including DCT on a PCP deal of

£5k deposit and £525 per month, can't remember if it is a 24 or 36 month deal.

I would have thought 36. The depo is high and it's normally a £525 x ##.
Is that + or including vat?

I've just had a dealer ring me back to say they have managed to better my deal by £20 a month. The numbers were for business users so were + VAT - Dickhead.

It looks like the best deal is (including the extras I require) £3500 down and £600 odd per month. It's hard to say as on this deal he's giving me an extra £1,850 part ex than what he offered me on a year old model.

Because they are very soft, the M3 generates lots of grip and heavily loads the tyres and most people use the performance

Some people have had good quotes from Adrian Flux without needing a tracker.

Yes 36 months and hand the keys back. I've seen some corking deals but the part ex prices were shocking. I've never hired a car before but I think it's the right time with a new M3 around the corner. I am awaiting the dealer to agree my part ex figure till the end of March/April. If they can I'll sign up.

Might give them a go Ant if the deals goes through - Cheers. Used to use Adrain Flux on my XR2 years back.

The LSD saves them a fair bit though. I think 3 pairs of rears in 24k without going on a track is a bit much.

True, LSD is great for drive and preventing wheelspin. If a set of rear lasts 10k or 12kmiles , at either 20K or 24K, the 3rd set will be on. Though I suppose it means that one would actually only be paying for two sets and not three as the 1st set would come with the car.

That includes VAT, and TBH Im pretty sure that you could negotiate that price below £500 if you were seriously making an offer.

Thanks guys - Just put a deposit down on a mineral white, 19's, red heated leather, media pack, sun protection and external folding mirrors. I didn't bother with the shadowline as the extras put more on your monthlies but you don't get the benefit come resale. Hopefully getting delivered at the end of March.

I have 2 PM's regarding my part ex and I'll be replying tonight/this afternoon.

DCT. I thought I'd never buy an automatic until I drove my 335i with dct and it converted me. I did however go in an auto amg c63 and the gearbox was crap compared.

Is there a difference between the dct in my 335 and the M3?
